Baia do Sueste

In the morning we all went to Baia do Sueste to do some snorkeling. It is a very well controlled area. All snorkels or swimmers within the marked reef area had to wear a life vest or face a fine. A swimmer was fined when we were there. The vest not only assured safety but also stopped anyone from diving down. Unfortunately there was a strong wind and the water stirred up. The reef was quite shallow. On the way out I got a terrible fright as I swam over a shark. It seemed about 5feet long but was most likely smaller.
