Παραμονή Πρωτοχρονιάς

Σήμερα είναι Παραμονή Πρωτοχρονιάς. Νωρίς πήγαμε για βόλτα στο δρόμο στην παραλία. Περπατήσαμε κατά μηλός της παραλίας. Πήγαμε στην ακτή και κουμπήσαμεστην θάλασσα. Το νερό ήταν πολυ κρύο. Περπατήσαμε στο μικρό κατάστημα μέσα στο θαλάσσιο κόλπον και αγόρασα την εφιμερίθα. Γυρίσαμε στο σπίτι και φάγαμε πρωινό μέσα στο βαλκόνι.
Μετά πήγαμε στο Μάγρετ Ρίβερ και αγόρασαμε πράγματα για βραδινό. Καθίσαμε στο βαλκόνι και είδαμε τα σόματα κυματοδρομία στα κύματα. Τα κύματα έγιναν πολύ μεγάλα.
Στο απόγευμα ξεκοθράστηκα.

Xmas tree

Χτές το βράδυ πήγα με την κόρη μου στο Γραστουν. Πήγα μαζί την Τσες με το αυτοκήνιτο της. Όταν έφτασα στο σπίτι κατάλαβα ο ηλεκτρισμός δεν ήταν άνοιξε. Μέσα το ψυγείο ήταν πολλό φαγητό. Δυστyχώς το κρέας και το τύρι μέσα στο ψυγείο χάλασε άπο το ζετστί. Έβαλα όλλα τα φαγητά στο σκουπιδοτενεκέ.
Στις εξίμιση πύγα για μία βόλτα με την Ευαγγαλία στην παραλία. Κουμπίσαμε στήν θάλασσα. Το νερό ήταν πολύ κρύο.
γυρίσαμε στο σπίτι και έφαγα βραδυνό στο βαλκόνι. Η Ευαγγαλία πύγα σην πόλη με τους φίλλους τής.

Greek Keyboard

Έιμαι στο Γράστουν μαζί με τον γίος μου, τον χριστΟφορος. Πήγα με το αυτοκήνιτο χτές το βράδυ. Σίμερα έιναι πολλά μαυρά σύννεφα στο ουρανό. Τώρα βρέχει.

South Point Walk

Ο Σίμον, εγώ και το Λεο πήγαμε για βόλτα δίπλα απο την παραλία. Περπατούσαμε για εξίντα λεπτά. Πήγαμε αργά το πρωί και φάγαμε πρωινό όταν γύρίσαμε. Πήγαμε την ίδια βόλτα κάθε μέρα.

GRACETOWN

Went to GT for the weekend to do some chores. BBQ not working etc.
Arrived down Saturday after Greek. New highway is just fantastic. Did
some cleaning up then went into Winos fοr dinner. We shared a really
nice bottle οf white. I then had a very disappointing barramundi dish
served with a few prawns and cherry tomatoes with some wilted spinach
on top. Very ordinary.
Sunday, surf was up. Oiled the decks and furniture, fixed the BBQ and
restocked the house. Everything looks great. Beautiful kangaroo paws
on side of road. Drove past the Holls block and home with laser breath
in the back!

January Long Weekend

The family came down to Gracetown for the long weekend. We had perfect weather, went for lots of long walks - or at least some of us did, and didn't stop eating for three days. George, Charter and Leo particularly enjoyed the walks. This is a picture of the North Point walk as we made our way down to the beach. As we got down toward the water we let Leo off the lead and he led the way. Jane and Bill joined us for dinner one night, Janne and Pip another. A great weekend.

Gracetown

We have had some great trips down to Gracetown this year. One morning on my early morning walks to Cobblestones the tide was really low and the reef exposed. I collected some abalone (too easy under those conditions) and took some great pictures. Leo loved racig across the semi-submerged reef. We came across a black swan swimming gracefully in the shallows at Huzzas. It was not at all frightened of us - although I did keep Leo on a tight leash.
