The statue of Cristo Redentor

We went to the bottom of the mountain and caught a cog railway to the summit. The weather was variable and the statue appearing and disappearing in the clouds. As we approached the summit the skies cleared for long enough to provide us with amazing 360 degrees views over Rio. The statue itself is immense and very moving.
