Andy went off to a school in Bedford New Hampshire to talk to year 1-3 about Australia. He was overwhelmed with their preparation and excitement with his visit. They had an assembly for Andy and two other Australian competitors in the marathon. They sang Waltzing Matilda for the visitors. The children listened to a short talk by each of the competitors and then asked lots of questions. They had all made Andy a card. The funniest one wrote “I have never seen anyone this brave to run a marathon in this age”
