In the evening we ventured on to the subway for the first time on our own. We headed south and went over to Gina and Nicks in Brooklyn Heights. The weather had cleared and the sun was shining. We had a lovely stroll on a promenade at the end of their street overlooking the Hudson and back over Manhatten with the Statue of Liberty in the distance. The neighbourhood is charming with bulbs in the iny front courtyards and blossoming trees. Some gardens had Easter decorations with Easter Bunnies. Dinner at an amazing Italian restaurant 'Noodle House' and I had roasted bunny.
